Journal: How Tragic

In my life, there are many tragic events happened, but one of them, I have a clear memory and will remember it for my life. It was on the day of March 11, 2011. Where around 150km away from the Japanese East Coast, there was an Earthquake with M9.0, which is almost equivalent to 5000tons of TNT bombs. It was so devastating that you can almost feel the shake in the entire Japanese coastlines and inlands. It had triggered multiple Tsunamis afterward in the following days, the biggest tsunami it brought was an astonishing 15 meters tall! The entire north East Japan had been flooded with sea water for more than few weeks! This caused millions of people to be trapped in tall buildings/mountains, and made thousands and thousands die in the shake and aftershakes. I remember this so clearly because first, my mom was at Japan at that moment. Second, It was on the exact same day as my birth day, March 11, 2011. I will never forget this date in my life, and this has been the most tragic event happened to my family that I think deserve a respect and memory.
